“ Me and my wife visited the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and were warmly welcomed by the host, who also introduced us to the weekend specials. We decided to try the Thalappakatti Goat Biryani and Guntur Chicken. The Guntur Chicken had an incredible spice level, truly authentic to Indian flavors, and I absolutely loved its bold heat and rich taste. As for the Thalappakatti Biryani, it was my first time experiencing this unique style, and I must say, it was outstanding. Every bite was bursting with an unforgettable blend of flavors and aromatic spices. For anyone who appreciates traditional South Indian cuisine, this biryani is an absolute must-try, delivering a deeply satisfying and flavorful experience! We’ll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their unique biryanis. ”
“ This exceptional culinary experience boasts outstanding takeout and buffet options. I frequently dine here for the Sunday Lunch buffet which is immensely popular and consistently delivers with an impressive array of delectable dishes presented in a methodical and organized fashion. Narendra-Vina, formerly joined by Manoj-Anusha, and the entire staff provide attentive, prompt, and courteous service despite being busy catering to customers and replenishing offerings. The buffet's notable highlight is Sorakaya halwa (aka dudhi halwa) renowned for its outstanding flavor and the chef's skill. Other beloved options include tandoori chicken, persis mix biryani, vijayawada biryani, mix uttapam, and baby corn pepper fry among others. This establishment is a recommended destination for those in the vicinity. ”
“ The food was good, and the service was equally commendable. The staff responsible for clearing plates and cleaning tables were especially hardworking and efficient. However, the overall experience was impacted by the lack of air conditioning. It was a very hot and busy Sunday afternoon, and not having the AC on made the atmosphere uncomfortable. It felt like the owner was being overly frugal by not turning it on, which significantly affected customer comfort. A little more attention to customer convenience—especially in extreme weather—would greatly enhance the dining experience. ”
“ excellent excellent excellent can't recommend enough, easily the best biryani I've ever had. excellent texture, lots and lots of flavor, huge portions, and the staff is so friendly ”
“ Persis Biriyani Indian Grill is truly a hidden gem here in Catonsville. My partner and I shared the samosas, chicken tikka, and the special chicken Biriyani, and when I tell you each dish was phenomenal I mean it! Cooked to absolute perfection. Aside from the food, our waiter was so nice! We talked about food, culture, and shared tons of laughs. Please support this business! They are incredible! ”
“ The food is excellent! Authentic south and North Indian food that is flavorful and complex. The variety of both south and North Indian delicacies is a rarity in the area. Their Sunday buffet attracts a lot of people so make sure you come early! ”
“ Ordered boneless chicken biryani on recommendation of the host and loved it. It reminded me of Bangalore's Meghna biryani. We got the Hyderabadi chicken curry as well on the recommendation of the host and loved it. We also got butter tandori roti and paneer butter masala for our daughter. Overall, I would say, this place is a shining light in the darkness which is Indian food in Maryland. A must visit. Will we visit again? Of course yes. ”
